Wavelog

Wavelog is a self-hosted PHP application that allows you to log your amateur radio contacts anywhere. All you need is a web browser and active internet connection. Wavelog itself is an enhanced fork of Cloudlog by MM9SQL (ex 2M0SQL). If you would like to contribute to Wavelog please see the Contributing section below. Each member signs up or signs in inside the app with an app username and password; the hub remembers each member's session. First account: made when the app is installed (admin), with a password the hub generates; the hub's owner reads it on the app's Access tab, then sign in at /index.php/user/login. Wavelog is the open-source project wavelog/wavelog (https://github.com/wavelog/wavelog) by wavelog, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 3af1ba557a54, adding only a manifest, an icon and a start script.

Devices you plug into your own computer

• Uses serial ports you choose in your browser (Web Serial): Connects a Winkeyer CW keyer over your computer's USB serial port

High risk: a page can change a device’s settings or replace its firmware. Your browser shows its own chooser for each device, and the app gets only the ones you pick there, while its page is open. These are not the devices on your Personal Cloud’s computer. You choose whether it gets each kind; Chrome and Edge have them, Firefox, Safari and the iOS app do not.

Sign-in details your Personal Cloud makes

The Personal Cloud makes a sign-in password for this app when it is installed. Only you can read it, on the app’s Access tab on your Personal Cloud. Oikou never sees it.

Its address

Works best with its own address. A Personal Cloud shared through Cloudflare can give it one; on a private Personal Cloud on Tailscale it opens under your Personal Cloud’s address, where it may not work fully. Private and shared Personal Clouds
