Interactive Raft consensus visualizer. Crash nodes, partition the network, cut single links one-way, and watch elections and log repair play out — with every safety invariant machine-checked against the paper.

About

An interactive, in-browser visualization of the Raft consensus algorithm — leader election, log replication, and the failure modes that make Raft interesting. Plus a second view that runs a fault-tolerant two-phase commit on top of it, across several Raft groups at once. No build step, no bundler, no CDN. Open index.html and it runs. There are two well-known ones already, and both are excellent: Raft Consensus Visualizer is the open-source project Raminshiraz/raft-visualizer (https://github.com/Raminshiraz/raft-visualizer) by Raminshiraz, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 0fe2fbd641f8, adding only a manifest, an icon and a storage compatibility script.
