Hermes UI

hermes-ui is a thin browser UI wrapper over the Hermes gateway. It is the official Hermes desktop renderer, extracted from the hermes-agent monorepo and repackaged as a plain Vite web app, so the same UI can be served from a browser instead of Electron. It ships no backend of its own: every request - REST, auth, and the WebSocket - goes to a running Hermes gateway. This keeps the app tiny, portable, and easy to serve from the gateway itself, from a dev proxy, or from any reverse proxy you already run. - Runs in any modern browser, with a PWA layer for install-to-home-screen. - Zero-config same-origin serving when hosted directly from the gateway. - Runtime gateway switching - save personal and company gateways and switch between them, all in the browser. - Token and OAuth authentication support. Hermes UI is the open-source project przbadu/hermes-ui (https://github.com/przbadu/hermes-ui) by przbadu, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 1af684e2d6ce, adding only a manifest, an icon and a storage compatibility script.

Not rated. Nobody has said who this app is suitable for, so Personal Clouds and the Oikou app treat it as 18+.

Internet

It asks to reach these hosts, and no others:

• fonts.gstatic.com
• fonts.googleapis.com

Other sites in its pages

Shows pages of these sites in its pages (opens at an address of its own):

• open.spotify.com
• player.vimeo.com
• www.youtube-nocookie.com

You agree to each site on your Personal Cloud, and can remove any or add your own. They keep their own cookies and storage there; the app’s own requests still reach only the hosts it asks for above.

Your camera, microphone and screen

• Can use your microphone while you have it open

You choose which of these it gets, and your browser still asks you before each use.

Personal Cloud tools

• Keep a database of its own on your Personal Cloud ion.db

Notifications

It does not send push notifications.
