About
Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool that runs on your server or web space. Installation is quick and easy, taking just seconds. With Lychee, you can upload, manage, and share your photos seamlessly, just like using a native application. It comes with all the essential features you need, ensuring your photos are stored securely. Read more on our website. For even more advanced features, consider the Supporter Edition (SE). The SE version offers additional functionality to enhance your experience. Learn more about the Supporter Edition and its benefits here. Version 7.0 introduces significant changes on the docker image. Please refer to our Upgrade Guide for detailed instructions on how to upgrade from previous versions. Sign-in: this app keeps its own accounts. Each member signs up or signs in inside the app with an app username and password; the hub remembers each member's session. First account: the app's own setup page (/) makes it (admin) the first time the owner opens the app. The import did not test signing in (signing in with its first account did not sign in (the page that needs the session, http://lychee.localhost:8213/login, asks for a password)). Lychee is the open-source project LycheeOrg/Lychee (https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee) by LycheeOrg, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit e95be7a551a1, adding only a manifest, an icon and a start script.

What version 7.10.0 may do
Internet
It asks to reach these hosts, and no others:
- api.github.com
- nominatim.openstreetmap.org
While your Personal Cloud builds it, the build asks to download from:
- registry.npmjs.org
- registry.yarnpkg.com
- pypi.org
- files.pythonhosted.org
- github.com
- codeload.github.com
- objects.githubusercontent.com
- dl-cdn.alpinelinux.org

- release-assets.githubusercontent.com

Your camera, microphone and screen
- Can use your camera while you have it open
The app sees what your camera or the screen you share shows while its page is open. You choose which of these it gets, and your browser still asks you before each use.
Personal Cloud tools
- Keep a MySQL database of its own on your Personal Cloud ion.mysql
Notifications
It does not send push notifications.
Storage
Up to 1 GB on your Personal Cloud.
Its address
Works best with its own address. A Personal Cloud shared through Cloudflare can give it one; on a private Personal Cloud on Tailscale it opens under your Personal Cloud’s address, where it may not work fully. Private and shared Personal Clouds
Add to Personal Cloud
Sign in to add this web app to a Personal Cloud of yours. It runs there, on your own computer, and you open it from there; nothing is installed on your phone.
