About

A UniFi support file is about 1,700 files and a few hundred megabytes of logs. This reads it and answers the questions you actually have: why did the gateway restart, what was using the processor, is anything running that should not be, what are the devices on my network talking to, and what personal information would I hand over if I sent this file to support. It runs entirely on your own machine. There is no cloud service and no telemetry. It reads files and never changes your device. It is not an official Ubiquiti tool and has no connection to Ubiquiti. Install and run it — with Python, or with Docker. The rest of this page is what it shows you and how to read it: the screenshots, what each tab means, reading it correctly. UniFi Support File Analyzer is the open-source project Inch-high/unifi-support-file-analyzer (https://github.com/Inch-high/unifi-support-file-analyzer) by Inch-high, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit e305eac01604, adding only a manifest, an icon and a start script.
