About
LanGuard builds a clear inventory of local network devices, tracks availability and network changes, and surfaces equipment that needs attention. It is designed for home and small-business networks and can run continuously as a Docker web application or locally as a native macOS scanner. - Discover IPv4 devices, names, vendors, MAC addresses, services, and common open ports. - Track online state, scan history, IP changes, availability, and attention findings. - Organize regular, visitor, and archived devices by room, role, icon, and notes. - Send Discord, Telegram, ntfy, or signed automation webhook notifications. - Connect AdGuard Home or Pi-hole for DNS context, plus Speedtest Tracker and HomeBox. - Run scheduled scans, on-demand detailed port scans, and Wake-on-LAN actions. - Install the Docker interface as a web app on supported phones, tablets, and computers. - Inventory running containers and published ports from the local Docker engine through the scheduler. The recommended deployment uses Docker Compose or Portainer on a trusted host with direct access to the network being scanned. Sign-in: this app keeps its own accounts. Each member signs up or signs in inside the app with an app username and password; the hub remembers each member's session. First account: made when the app is installed (admin), with a password the hub generates; the hub's owner reads it on the app's Access tab. LanGuard is the open-source project hillaliy/LanGuard (https://github.com/hillaliy/LanGuard) by hillaliy, released under Apache-2.0. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 7d0fab21b159, adding only a manifest, an icon and a start script.

What version 1.21.0 may do
Internet
It asks to reach these hosts, and no others:
- api.telegram.org
- hillaliy.github.io
- ntfy.sh
Containers on your Personal Cloud’s computer
Can see the containers on your Personal Cloud’s computer, their settings and logs (which may hold passwords): Shows your Docker containers, images and their logs
You choose the level on your Personal Cloud, and can give less. It never sees your Personal Cloud’s own containers or other apps’ ones, and cannot create containers with your folders or extra privileges.
Devices on your network
Can find the devices on your network (addresses, makers, names, open ports) on networks you choose: Finds the devices on your network to map them
Asks to run on the network of your Personal Cloud’s computer itself, outside your Personal Cloud’s network controls (Personal Clouds on Linux).
Each scan needs your approval unless you allow it always, and it can reach a device it found only once you approve it.
Personal Cloud tools
None. It uses nothing from your Personal Cloud beyond its own storage.
Notifications
It does not send push notifications.
Storage
Up to 512 MB on your Personal Cloud.
Sign-in details your Personal Cloud makes
The Personal Cloud makes a sign-in password for this app when it is installed. Only you can read it, on the app’s Access tab on your Personal Cloud. Oikou never sees it.
- admin-password — The password of LanGuard's first administrator account, made when the app was installed (account: admin)
Add to Personal Cloud
Sign in to add this web app to a Personal Cloud of yours. It runs there, on your own computer, and you open it from there; nothing is installed on your phone.
