Web KaTrain

Web KaTrain is a browser-based Go study app inspired by KaTrain. It runs KataGo-style neural network evaluation locally in the browser with TensorFlow.js, keeps the search work off the main thread in a Web Worker, and can be installed as an offline PWA. There is no analysis server to run. Live app: https://sir-teo.github.io/web-katrain/ - Top-move hints, principal variations, ownership, policy, win rate, and score lead. - A Candidates list beside the board: rank, move, quality, win rate, score, points lost and visits for every candidate at once. Hover a row to lay its variation on the board; click it to play the move. - Quick, fast, and full-game analysis passes with per-position caching. - KaTrain-style move quality, phase summaries, and game reports. - "Play elsewhere?" prices the point: the engine evaluates the position again after a pass, so you can see what the move here is worth and where the opponent would go if you ignored it. - Swing map: instead of who owns what now, paint what changed. Subtracting two analysed positions' ownership maps says which intersections moved and by how much, so "this move lost 5.2 points" gains a where. It measures against the move before by default, or against the engine's own move once that move exists as a variation -- which is the comparison a review is actually after, because it separates the move's error from its legitimate gain. It reports no points total on purpose: ownership and score come from different heads of the net and need not agree, so the score readout keeps "how much". - Play on from here: hand the position on screen to the engine and keep going, branching off the game rather than replacing it. The move you regret is one click from being tried again against something that answers back. - Time graph from the clock recorded in the SGF (BL/WL/OB/OW), for games imported from OGS, KGS, Fox or Tygem. - Drill your mistakes: the board goes back to the position before each one with the answer hidden -- hints, policy, best-move readout and all -- and grades the move you play against what the engine wanted. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 8dd813aeb565, adding only a manifest, an icon and a storage compatibility script.

It does not send push notifications.

Isolated pages

Runs its pages isolated (shared memory). Its pages get shared memory and precise timers, and load files from other sites only when those sites allow it.

Up to 1 GB on your Personal Cloud.
