A fake terminal where kids can type anything and get fun, safe responses. Single HTML file, no dependencies, runs offline. Most "learn to type" apps are boring drills or require accounts and installations. Toddlers and pre-readers need something that rewards every keypress — real words AND keyboard smashing — without frustration or failure states. A browser-based terminal that responds to everything a child types: tiny-terminal is the open-source project madebydia/tiny-terminal (https://github.com/madebydia/tiny-terminal) by madebydia, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 67e602f599d5, adding only a manifest, an icon and a storage compatibility script.
