RNode Flasher

A work-in-progress web based firmware flasher for Reticulum / RNode_Firmware. - It is written in javascript and uses the Web Serial APIs. - It supports putting relevant devices into DFU mode. - It supports flashing firmware from a zip file. At this time, it does not support flashing bootloaders or softdevices for the nRF boards. RNode Flasher is the open-source project liamcottle/rnode-flasher (https://github.com/liamcottle/rnode-flasher) by liamcottle, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit 678b1e3aa7ec, adding only a manifest, an icon and a storage compatibility script.

• Uses USB devices you choose in your browser (WebUSB): Talks to the USB devices and serial ports you plug into your computer
• Uses serial ports you choose in your browser (Web Serial)

High risk: a page can change a device’s settings or replace its firmware. Your browser shows its own chooser for each device, and the app gets only the ones you pick there, while its page is open. These are not the devices on your Personal Cloud’s computer. You choose whether it gets each kind; Chrome and Edge have them, Firefox, Safari and the iOS app do not.

None. It uses nothing from your Personal Cloud beyond its own storage.

Up to 16 MB on your Personal Cloud.
