LLMBase

A personal knowledge base that an LLM compiles, not just stores. Inspired by Karpathy's LLM Knowledge Base pattern — raw material in, an LLM compiles it into a structured, interlinked wiki, and you keep querying & refining it. No vector DB. No embeddings pipeline. Just markdown, an LLM, and one operations contract that serves your CLI, your browser, and your AI agent. Live: 華藏閣 — autonomous trilingual Buddhist KB, continuously learning from CBETA · 斯文 — classical-Chinese (文言) KB of Confucian, Daoist & Buddhist classics LLMBase is the open-source project Hosuke/llmbase (https://github.com/Hosuke/llmbase) by Hosuke, released under MIT. Ion packages it unmodified from commit a7c4d9da7644, adding only a manifest, an icon and a start script.

Internet

It asks to reach these hosts, and no others:

• fonts.googleapis.com
• fonts.gstatic.com

Personal Cloud tools

None. It uses nothing from your Personal Cloud beyond its own storage.

Notifications

It does not send push notifications.

Storage

Up to 512 MB on your Personal Cloud.

Its address

Works best with its own address. A Personal Cloud shared through Cloudflare can give it one; on a private Personal Cloud on Tailscale it opens under your Personal Cloud’s address, where it may not work fully. Private and shared Personal Clouds
